Our all natural DIY Face Mask "Spi-Shi" with Shiso, Spirulina, Bentonite Clay and Oatmeal. This 1.3oz+ jar is enough for several DIY face masks.Directions: Add one teaspoon of the mask powder into a bowl or shallow dish and add 1 tablespoon of warm water as comfortable. Mix up into a paste, adding more water if a thinner consistency is desired. Apply gently to the face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes until dried. Rinse off gently with warm water and a soft cloth or with your hands.Instead of adding water while making up the DIY face mask , some folks like to add honey, milk or yoghurt.Ingredients: purple shiso, spirulina, bentonite clay, ground oatmealMade with organic purple shiso grown here in maiden NC, and organic spirulina.Spirulina is loaded with proteins, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids, and is a popular staple in many people's skincare routine. Spiruina is high in vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin E, calcium, iron and phosphorus, all of which are vital for maintaining healthy skin. Spirulina also contains tyrosine, and selenium, all known for their anti-ageing benefits.Purple Shiso (Perilla) is renowned in several cultures for its medicinal benefits, and is used in anti aging and wrinkle reducing products. It is a popular herb used in Chinese medicine.Note: The face mask will turn very dark green because of the spirulina in the face mask. Spirulina should easily wash out of any fabric in the case of the mask dripping or falling onto your clothes or getting in your hair. This face mask is made with bentonite clay, so please make sure not to use a metal utensil/ to mix up the mask , and make sure not to use a metallic bowl.
